Welcome to the Summer edition of Insurance Insights and the final edition for the year. As we come into this season of new beginnings, I’m delighted to bring you news of some recent initiatives shared with our partners, your members, and the broader community.

It was a pleasure to join our ASFA colleagues and connect with a number of our group insurance partners at the ASFA conference in Adelaide from the 28^th-30^th November. It was an outstanding event that covered really important issues – such as the role of superannuation in housing affordability, the challenges faced by retirees in the decumulation phase and how the industry can innovate in this space. I was particularly inspired by the session on AI, Machines, Bots – the future face of super.
