We are delighted to bring you the latest insights from our business.

Recently Zurich announced new climate measures to reduce our CO2 emissions by more than 40,000 tons per year, and green options for customers. We want to inspire partners and customers as well as the wider community to take action. 

To maintain a focus on this important issue, Zurich created a new series featuring special guests Dr. Jane Goodall and Sebastião Salgado on how best to combat climate change. Last month, our Head of Group Insurance, Darren Wickham had the opportunity to meet with key experts within the superannuation industry to discuss the transformation of insurance inside super. In this balanced discussion, we hear from CEO’s of some of Australia’s prominent superfunds on hot topics within the industry. Read here

We are delighted to confirm several senior leadership appointments in the Zurich Life & Investments group insurance portfolio. Darren Wickham’s team will include Francis Burgess as Head of Pricing, Group Insurance, who joined Zurich in November 2021. He will work alongside myself and Jennifer Faglioni as Head of Product. These appointments reflect Zurich’s investment in its Group Insurance business to ensure that Zurich’s partners and their members are delivered market-leading capabilities.

As we also look ahead to the new year and coming together again in an office environment, we focus on the employer’s contribution to employee wellbeing. It will take our care and commitment as we continue to improve the holistic wellbeing of employees. 

While this challenging year comes to an end, we would like to take the time to thank you for building a productive and strategic relationship with us even though we were not always able to meet in person.
