In 2020, we paid over $1.24 billion in life insurance claims. For group insurance specifically, we paid over $341 million in life insurance claims. We helped 5,719 insured Australians who have life insurance cover that is provided by their employer or super fund. Numbers like that make it hard to fathom, so we wanted to share just one story of a recent claimant to help bring some perspective to what it is like to help just one of these insured lives.
